Tom Rolley Videography had been asked to create the promo for Bartec Auto, and he came to me to put the model together and animate it.
APPROACH:
Thankfully Bartec Auto had CAD models of the tools. So using photos of the real tool, I created the correct textures and graphics to give a realistic 3D model.
The animation was the result of working with Tom Rolley to get the correct movement of the pieces.
Following on from the creation for Bartec Auto, I decided to give the tool the promotion I thought it should have, and take advantage of having the models built and textured in 3D - and have a bit of fun with an exploded diagram. As a result I reimagined graphic advertisments and include the clay untextured video too.
