ASK:
Upshot Design contacted me with a request; to animate their rebrand for Building Brands in the form of a logo. It would then play out at the Building Brands Plymouth event to a few hundred people.
APPROACH
Pictures do speak a thousand words, but for the video to be effective, I knew it had to be driven by a story. I turned to the Manifesto which had been written by Copywriter; Olivia Dunn. This summed up everything Building Brands stood for and it's aims.
I created a storyboard, working in partnership with Upshot Design, and after the voice over recorded, and the soundtrack approved, it was down to animating. 
To complete the promo I needed to work with video footage, 2D animation, and model and animate 3D graphics to all seemlessly flow from one section to the next.
In the end, the team at both Building Brands and Upshot Design were thrilled with the result.
