ASK:
The Team at Church Road Studios asked me to create the opening titles for their new promo. They also wanted the new logo to appear on the side of their building. Church Road Studios would provide the logo, fonts, posters, and colour guide.
APPROACH:
After looking at the supplied branding, and the 'Road to Creativity' tag line, I wanted to focus on the 'road' theme, as though we were looking down on a map and seeing the road being revealed in front of us, taking us on a journey, with the destination being the studios. Also, being located in London, I searched for major places in central London to be added to the 'map', positioning them based on the roads in London, or the Thames River.
Then in the final reveal of the studio name, we'd see the text being revealled in the same way, like a road, with the different colours of the branding style guide.
